First reference to the use of Agrimony dates back 120 years BC.   It has been used for wounds since the old Saxons era. In the 15th century it was the most important ingredient of so called “Arquebus Water”, a field medicine for shot wounds. It is good for skin inflammation and ulcers, stops bleeding from wounds.

Flowering tips.

Effective substances:
Tannins, terpenes, flavonoids and their derivatives (lutein, apigenin, hyperoside) and high amount of silicic acid
